Gatemi Product Gallery for WooCommerce replaces WooCommerce's product gallery with one shoppers can actually use: swipe or scroll through the images, click for full size, hover to magnify, and — on a variable product — see the photographs of the colour they just chose rather than the one you happened to list first.
It works before the JavaScript does. Every image is in the page as a real <img> with your store's own srcset, laid out with CSS scroll-snap. A visitor on a slow connection can swipe the gallery before a single script has run; the script adds the arrows, the thumbnails, the lightbox and the zoom on top of markup that is already whole. A gallery that shows an empty box until a bundle loads is the thing this category is famous for, and it is not what this one does.
It uses your images, from where they already are. The featured image, then the product gallery, in the order you arranged them, at the image sizes WooCommerce already registers — so your regeneration, your CDN and your lazy-loading keep working. The plugin adds a way to show your images; it does not become a second place your images live.
And when your theme has its own gallery, this plugin stands aside. It takes over WooCommerce's standard gallery hook, and if your theme has already replaced that, it leaves it alone and tells you so on its settings screen, in words rather than in a support ticket. Two galleries on one page is the failure this category is known for.
Features
- Slider with thumbnails below or beside the image (or none)
- Lightbox: click any image to open it full size, ESC or click to close
- Hover zoom on desktop, at a magnification you can filter — never on a touchscreen, where a hover effect is a tap that appears to do nothing
- Per-variation image sets: give the blue one its own four photographs, chosen from the media library on the variation itself
- Variation swapping follows WooCommerce's own events, so the gallery can never disagree with the price beside it
- Keyboard arrows, focus outlines,
prefers-reduced-motionrespected - No jQuery on the storefront, no bundler, no build step, and nothing loaded on a page that is not a product page
Every license includes
- One year of updates and priority support, delivered straight to your WordPress dashboard.
- Use on 1, 5 or 25 sites depending on your license — local, staging and development sites are always free.
- 30-day money-back guarantee — full refund, no questions asked.
- Keeps working after expiry — if you choose not to renew, the plugin keeps running exactly as installed; it simply stops receiving updates and support until you do.
Requires WordPress 6.4+ · PHP 7.4+ · tested up to WordPress 7.0. Works with the classic and block checkout alike.

Risolve una cosa che aggiravo da un anno. Product Gallery non si fa mai sentire e intanto lavora.

Exactement ce dont j’avais besoin sur ma boutique. Le meilleur que j’aie essayé en Merchandising. Affaire réglée.

So glad I bought this. Went with the Single Site licence and that covers what I need. That’s a yes from me.

Correcto, sin entusiasmar. Product Gallery hace su trabajo, y poco más.

Works on a multisite install, which I couldn’t say for the last one. There’s nothing clever going on in Product Gallery, and that’s a compliment. A good bit of work.
