These terms govern purchases on gatemi.com. Buying a license means agreeing to them — so we have kept them short, readable and fair.
1. What you are buying
Every Gatemi plugin is licensed GPLv2-or-later, like WordPress itself. The code is yours to run, modify and study. What your purchase adds around the code is a service: one year of updates delivered from our servers, priority support, and access to downloads in your account.
2. License tiers and activations
- Single Site — activate on 1 production site.
- Plus — activate on up to 5 production sites.
- Agency — activate on up to 25 production sites.
- Local, staging and development sites (
localhost,*.test,*.local,staging.*,dev.*and similar) are free and never count against your limit. - You can deactivate a site yourself in My Account at any time, which frees the slot immediately.
3. Renewal and expiry
Licenses run for one year and renew annually unless cancelled. An expired license never breaks your store. The plugin keeps working exactly as installed; it stops receiving updates and support until you renew. Renewing reinstates both immediately, whenever you renew.

5. Support
Support covers installing, configuring and using the plugins on a supported stack (the WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions listed on each product page). We aim to answer every ticket within one business day.
6. Fair use and abuse
We may revoke keys used fraudulently (shared publicly, resold, or used to redistribute updates). Revocation for abuse never touches code already installed.
7. Warranty and liability
Plugins are provided as-is to the maximum extent GPL and applicable law allow; our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Gatemi is an India-registered business; these terms are governed by Indian law.
