This policy describes what Gatemi (“we”) collects when you visit gatemi.com, buy a license, or run a Gatemi plugin, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what a store needs to sell you software and license it — and nothing else.
What we collect when you buy
- Account and order details — your name, email address, billing country and order history. We need these to issue licenses, deliver updates, provide support and meet bookkeeping obligations.
- Payment details are never stored by us. Payments are processed by our payment providers; card or wallet numbers never touch our servers.
What our plugins send us
A paid Gatemi plugin contacts gatemi.com only for licensing and updates. Those calls carry your license key, your site URL and version numbers (plugin, WordPress, PHP) — nothing else. No admin email, no customer data, no analytics, no usage tracking. This is a deliberate design rule, and each plugin’s readme discloses the exact endpoints it calls.
Cookies
The store uses the session cookies WooCommerce needs for the cart and login. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can export or erase the personal data attached to your account at any time from My Account, or by writing to support@gatemi.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.
