What happens when a license expires?
Nothing breaks. The plugin keeps working exactly as installed; it stops receiving updates and support until you renew. Renewing — whenever you renew — reinstates both immediately.
How do activations work?
A license activates on 1, 5 or 25 production sites depending on tier. A site counts once no matter how many times you re-activate it, you can free a slot yourself from My Account, and local, staging and development sites never count at all.
How do updates arrive?
Through WordPress’s own update system — the plugins page shows the update, one click installs it, auto-updates work if you enable them. Updates are delivered securely from gatemi.com.
