Gatemi Low Stock for WooCommerce replaces WooCommerce's one-email-per-product low-stock notice with a single scheduled digest, and lets a shop set its threshold per category instead of per product.
One message, on a schedule you choose. WooCommerce's own low-stock email is fired by the order that crossed the threshold — so a shop that sells forty lines on a Friday afternoon gets forty emails, and the merchant makes a filter for them within the month. This plugin sends one digest, daily or weekly, at the hour you pick, on the store's own clock: a nine o'clock digest is a promise about somebody's morning, and a shop in Auckland whose digest arrives at 9am UTC gets it at nine in the evening.
Nothing is sent when nothing is low. A scheduled message that arrives every week saying "nothing to report" trains a merchant to delete it unread — and then the week the list is long, they delete that one too. A store that would rather hear either way can say so; the setting says what it costs.
Thresholds per category, not per product. Setting a low-stock amount on nine hundred products by hand is not a plan. Write one number on the *Frozen* category and every range filed under it is covered, sub-categories included. A product filed under two categories is reported at the more cautious of them — being told early costs an email, being told late costs a sale.
WooCommerce's own field stays the per-product answer. There is no second box: a product's own low-stock amount is the one WooCommerce already shows you, the one driving core's notice, and the one this plugin reads first. Two boxes is two numbers that disagree, and a merchant who finds out which one won from an email that did or did not arrive.
The list is built when it is sent. Nothing is accumulated as products cross their threshold — a product restocked on Thursday would still be on Friday's list. The scan reads the shop's stock at the moment the digest goes out, so everything in it is true when it is read.
Features
- One digest, daily or weekly, at the hour you choose, on the store's own timezone
- A threshold on any product category, inherited by its sub-categories
- WooCommerce's own per-product low-stock amount is honoured first, so nothing is typed twice
- A store-wide default that falls back to WooCommerce's own notification threshold
- A live low-stock report on the settings screen — the same scan the digest sends
- Out-of-stock products first, then fewest left, so the top of the list is the money
- Any number of recipients; empty means the store's own admin address
- Your own subject and wording, with
{count},{out}and{site_title} - Nothing runs on a storefront request — no CSS, no JavaScript, not a byte on a shopper's page
Every license includes
- One year of updates and priority support, delivered straight to your WordPress dashboard.
- Use on 1, 5 or 25 sites depending on your license — local, staging and development sites are always free.
- 30-day money-back guarantee — full refund, no questions asked.
- Keeps working after expiry — if you choose not to renew, the plugin keeps running exactly as installed; it simply stops receiving updates and support until you do.

Six months in and I’ve nothing to complain about. Low Stock is the sort of thing that should probably be in core.

Works fine behind my page cache. Low Stock does its job quietly, and that is all I wanted. Would buy from Gatemi again.

Solid, if a little bare in places. Single Site covers me for now. Solid four stars.

Aucune bannière publicitaire dans l’administration, ça compte. J’ai déployé Low Stock sur trois sites clients. Je le rachèterais demain.

Decent, and I’d still buy it. Nothing about Low Stock is flashy, and nothing needs to be. Perfectly happy.
